The 18th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) Opens in Macao
Connecting Global Chinese Business Leaders and Opening a New Chapter of Development

attended the 18th WCEC as one of the representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs in the UAE.

As the global economic landscape undergoes rapid restructuring and regional cooperation continues to deepen, Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide are entering a new phase of connection and collaboration. From November 2 to 4, 2025, the 18th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention was held in Macao. The event brought together more than 4,000 participants — including Chinese business leaders from over 50 countries and regions, experts, scholars, and representatives from government and industry — to explore new opportunities for global Chinese enterprises and discuss key topics such as business cooperation, regional integration, industry and investment, urban development, and future trends.

As a representative of the Chinese business community in the UAE,
Mr. Zheng Jian, CEO of STAMN, engaged in in-depth discussions with entrepreneurs from around the world. At this global gathering of ideas and perspectives, STAMN stood at the forefront of the era, connecting with the world.

This convention offered an open, parallel, and equal platform for profound exchange.
Our purpose in Macao was not to showcase or to perform, but to understand. To understand the rhythm and logic of different regional economies, to listen to real experiences and insights from Chinese entrepreneurs worldwide, and to explore possibilities for collaboration that are complementary, mutually beneficial, and sustainable.

During the discussions, Mr. Zheng shared STAMN's long-term observations of Dubai:
Dubai is an open city where population, talent, and capital continue to converge. Its development is not driven by a single industry, but by constant evolution in policy frameworks, urban ecosystems, and lifestyle offerings. In Dubai's economic landscape, sectors such as trade, logistics, tourism, real estate, construction materials, and automotive collectively shape new ways of living, new urban experiences, and new social environments.

What we gained in Macao was not immediate project cooperation, but something more fundamental — shared understanding and expanded perspectives. The exchange of viewpoints from different regions revealed more possibilities for the future. Cross-cultural and cross-industry dialogue enabled deeper, more multidimensional understanding. Some forms of collaboration take time — growing slowly from seeds of insight, trust, and shared vision. True partnership is never declared; it grows organically through understanding, trust, and time.
