Official Positive Announcement | Dubai Takes Action Again: AED 1 Billion to Stabilize the Economy
A major positive policy has been officially announced. Dubai has once again introduced impactful measures to inject strong momentum into economic development and lay a solid foundation for the steady growth of the real estate sector.
PART 01: Empowering Businesses, Strengthening Market Resilience

On March 30, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, approved a comprehensive economic support package worth AED 1 billion (approximately USD 272 million). The initiative aims to support business growth and enhance market resilience. It officially came into effect on April 1 and will remain in place for a period of three to six months.
This move not only reflects Dubai's proactive response to current economic conditions and its commitment to stabilizing market confidence, but also highlights the city's strong fundamentals and long-term growth potential as a global economic hub.
The support package focuses on multi-sector relief and empowerment, with key measures including:
Deferral of select government fees for 3 months, easing financial pressure and improving business liquidity
Postponement of hotel sales fees and Tourism Dirham fees for 3 months, supporting recovery in the hospitality and tourism sectors
Extension of customs clearance grace periods from 30 days to 90 days (with potential further extensions), facilitating smoother import and export activities
Introduction of competitive incentives and streamlined residency permit issuance and renewal processes, helping attract and retain global talent
PART 02: Economic Growth Driving Urban Prosperity

During the same meeting, officials also released Dubai's impressive 2025 economic performance report:
GDP growth rate: 5.4%
Total GDP: exceeding AED 937 billion
These strong indicators reaffirm Dubai's dynamic economic vitality and reinforce investor confidence.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that Dubai, with its credibility, transparency, and inclusiveness, has become a trusted destination for global businesses and investors. Looking ahead, the city will continue to transform challenges into opportunities and strengthen its position as a leading global economic hub.
Dubai’s strategic empowerment initiatives focus on:
Enhancing residents' quality of life
Strengthening financial stability
Promoting sustainable employment
Reinforcing social cohesion
These efforts are driven by cross-sector collaboration between government entities, businesses, and community organizations to support comprehensive social development.

In addition, the Worker Housing Health and Safety Strategy aims to improve living and working conditions for laborers. By 2033, the goal is to achieve full coverage of essential services and 100% compliance with health and safety standards in worker accommodations. This initiative aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and international labor standards.
This AED 1 billion economic support package is not only a pragmatic response to current market challenges but also a strong testament to Dubai's commitment to reinforcing its status as a global economic hub. It will continue to enhance economic resilience and drive sustainable growth across all sectors.
With policy support in place, the future is promising.
STAMN will seize this momentum, deepen its presence in Dubai, empower urban development, and stand alongside investors to share in the city's growth dividends and build a stable and prosperous future together.
